Rationale:  The program should pursue strategies to sustain itself for the long term, and to continue to improve and expand its services.


Key Factors for Consideration

The program has a written, well-developed plan for long-term sustainability that addresses:

§         Diversification of sources of income

§         Strategies for enhancing community support §         Retention of employees and volunteers §         Long-term financial planning §         Succession planning for program leadership
